DESCRIPTION:There’s no better way to get into the mood for CREATE than going to the Opening Night Bash. With a glass of bubbly in your hand\, exquisite canapes\, and a group of friends it will be so easy to get lost among the artworks. \nSet amongst the main exhibition at The Crossing Theatre\, three musicians will be performing: \nQuarralia Knox is a Gomeroi/Kamilaroi woman on her fathers side\, and an Arryntre woman on her mothers side. In the last decade Quarralia has been inspired by genres ranging from musical theatre\, Pop\, Kpop\, Rap\, Hip-hop/RnB\, and has began infusing the styles into her latest original songs. Quarralia especially prides herself on writing songs about her aboriginal culture and dreamtime stories and performing them in her Gomeroi language \nRudely Interrupted is a Melbourne based band which were meant to perform last year but due to COVID19\, they had to cancel.
