The Crossing Theatre are setting up their outdoor screen at Boggabri and Wee Waa Showgrounds so it replicates a small version of the old Drive-In Movies. \nBoggabri – 9 April 2021 \nFilm: Ride Like A Girl (PG) – The inspirational story of Michelle Payne\, the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup despite facing odds of a 100 to 1. \nWee Waa – 16 April \nFilm: Oddball (PG) – An eccentric chicken farmer\, with the help of his granddaughter\, trains his mischievous dog Oddball to protect a penguin sanctuary from fox attacks in an attempt to reunite his family and save their seaside town. \nTime: Gates will open at 5.30pm for a 6.30pm start. \n\nthere will be a maximum of 50 cars – the first in will get the best position\nFood and snacks will be available\nYou will need to tune into an FM station so please ensure your vehicle has this capacity\nYou can also bring a picnic and chairs as there will be an area just in front of the big screen in case your view isn’t perfect\nWeather permitting – the event will be cancelled if wet or too windy – an email will be sent on the day if this is the case
